#VALUE! output when performing a simple calculation. Cell number formatting

    ello all:

I have simple statistical data on an excel spreadsheet and when I try to perform calculations it, I get a #VALUE! output.

The cells to which my formula refers are formatted as numbers, so I do not know what may be happening.
It seems as if the data is not recognized as numbers. I have tried to copy and paste as value in another book but the result is the same.

Can anybody please shed light on on this matter?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
Your number has "." more than 1 time, use the following:-

Re: #VALUE! output when performing a simple calculation. Cell number formatting

Thank you, LokeshKumar! Any ideas on how to turn the numbers with "." into integers, getting rid of the dots?

    @ nflsales: B2 = 42205775 (+ 42 millions); B61 = 982597 ; B292 = -431

Seems that after copying from the source into excel and formatting the cells as numbers without removing the dots the values get additional zeros to the right, rendering them useless
