Lookup Between a Range

Hi,

In the attached worksheet I have sample data in columns A to N.

In columns Q:T I have created a table that will be used to reference the sample data. What I’m trying without success to do is to create in column T a formula that will use the associated parameters in Q:S to search in A:N and return a “Y” if the cells associated with a particular code are blank for all dates in the range stipulated in columns Q:S.

So, for example, I’d expect a “Y” for CCC from 31/05/2014 to 31/08/2014 (highlighted yellow) but not for DDD (shaded green) from 31/01/2014 to 31/03/2014 because cell D6 isn’t blank.

Can someone please suggest a formula to achieve this?
