Reference cell, seperate worksheet. Drag down but reference across

Hi,

So I am currently creating a data management document.

On 1 worksheet I have listed down sources of information for different location with the total per location running horizontally.
on worksheet 2 I need to list the total down but the data is presented vertically.

When I reference on worksheet 2 I just select reference cell on worksheet 1.
I then need to drag it down to fill out the relevant cells on the 2nd worksheet but I need the auto fill to go horizontal when referencing the cells

How do I do this?

Sheet 2 to reference sheet 1.
sheet 2 is meant to be a summary.

Sheet 1 is a month with additional monthly sheets to be added
