Lookup and return rows based on layout entered, perform calc on return and output file

Hi All,
I have a lengthy list in the format:
16-08
A 1 2
B 3 4
C 5 6

I would like the user to type in the layout (16-08 for example) and the return will be the coordinates which vary in length.
When the coordinates are returned, I need to preform a mathematical operation on them based on the input of 2 cells and output a file with the name from C2 on the desktop with no file extension.

Can easily be done with VBA, formulas are not my forte, but try if this would help you. See attached.

In cell A8, put the following formula and copied across (make sure formatting is set to General):

Hi Berlan,
The formula is working perfect, can you do the rest in VBA or all of it, with a one click button?
