Count unique values based on criteria but without array formula (CSE)

Hello,

I would like to ask that how is it possible to count the unique values based criteria but without to use array formula (entered with CSE)?
The sample file has been added to this thread.

Maybe try to use a helper column.

=sum(index(($b$5:$b$17=$e5)/countifs($b$5:$b$17,$b$5:$b$17,$c$5:$c$17,$c$5:$c$17),0))
