    automating

    Hi,

Suppose I enter a date say 01-01-2015 in dd/mm/yyyy format in row 1 then I type 01-02-2015 in row 2 , is there a way to automatically display 01-03-2015 , 01-04-2015 and so on in the subsequent rows ?

    If A1 is 01-01-2015,

    in A2:
    =A1+1 and drag down

    Alternatively!

    If you have

    1/1/15 in A1
    1/2/15 in A2

Then, select A1:A2 and you can grab the bottom right corner of the selected box and drag down as far as you want.

It will avoid having the formula in the cells and just have the dates

    Also,

    If you have

    1/1/15 in A1
    2/1/15 in A2

And do the same as above

    you get:

    3/1/15 in A3
    4/1/15 in A4

    And so on!
