how to add % symbol in excel cell

What do you exactly mean by Adding % to an Excel Function? :O

If you wish to Format your cell with a %, then use Ctrl+Shift+4.

That should do it..

If you are looking for something else, please clarify..

Not really sure what you mean. For one thing, usually you change the numberformatting to percantage for numeric values. if you want to include the symbol as part of a formula use &"%" or &char(37)

Examples
=text(A1,"0%") for a numeric value
="abd"&A1&"%"&"cde"
