How to type card suits COLOURED signs/symbols?

I need to type the card suits symbols. I managed to find a very easy way (with ALT key), but this types (of course) in the default color. I couldn't find a faster way to type Hearts and Diamonds symbols in red. Only to select the symbol after typing and to change font color manually each time. If I use clipboard or even AutoCorrect it doesn't keep the color format and they are all typed in black.

Exists any better/faster method to type red Hearts and Diamonds?

    Thank you.

If in one cell you keep only one card, you can easily achieve this with conditional formatting. Otherwise, (few cards in one cell) - you rather shall write VBA code to format color of signs in a cell.

I'm afraid I don't know how to trigger a macro when I type a specific character within a text string.
