Within 1 cell, the sentence or word I have in there is repeated mulitple tiems, why?

    Within 1 cell, the sentence or word I have in there is repeated mulitple tiems, why?

    Hi let's I have cells in my spreadsheet that are repeating the value that is in there. I tried all sorts of formatting and alignment adjustments....

    When you click on the cell to try to delete what is showing repeatedly, the contents only appear once (So there is nothing to be deleted). When the cell is unhighlighted it goes back to showing the cell contacts more than once.

    For example, let's say I have the word dog in a cell.

    It's showing like dog dog dog dog dog dog...

    Can anyone help?
