I Want Excel 2013 to Open Prior Folder, not Default

In Excel 2010, if you were working with a file and clicked open, it would take you to the previous folder you were in. In Excel 2013, it always takes you to the default folder. Is there any way to change it to open the last folder you were in? I'm spending too much time navigating folders.
