Hi guys,
Is it possible within Excel for an array of cells to only be revealed once prompted by a user command i.e. by just clicking on an arbitrary cell?
I am putting together an Excel based tool to model the "smart" charging of electric vehicles as part of my student dissertation; a relevant snippet of this is within the attached workbook. As you can see, I have created the opportunity for two unique Mitsubishi Outlander's (in this example) to be charged by the same system. But in a car park scenario, this could be expanded to take account for potentially tens of cars.
Rather than having columns upon columns of data to enable this I was wandering if it is possible to keep columns A and B, and then have the option to "Add another vehicle" which through some kind of prompt cell brings up column C in the current format I have created manually. I will be presenting the final tool to an inexperience focus group to test user-friendliness so such an option would definitely be helpful!
Any advice / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
All the Best,
Calum.
