    Security notice

    Hi,

Today I opened my file, and clicked on the hyperlink that linked to my desktop folder, but it shows below:

I do not want to see the message. May I know how to disable it? I tried trust center but could not.

    Re: Security notice

    Hi,

You need to change the "Trust Center" settings if you do not wish to see this message.

Office button > Excel Options button > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings -> External Content -> Enable Data Connections (not recommended)

    Hi,

My initial setting is the same above. I also tried to change to other setting, and then changed back to the above setting. However the message still appear.

Try adding the folder path (C:\Users\travissaw\Desktop\Travis) to the Trusted Locations list.

    Hi cbatrody,

Thank you for your help. I just added the new location.

The system still shows the same message for the hyperlink.
