Timer on userform - run in background if we close the userform

Hi Experts,

I am looking for timer on userform which keep run in background even userform closed. it needs to be run till we click on stop timer.
please find the attached file that i got from our forum for timer. we have start and stop options in this form. I am expecting that if i started timer and closed the userform, timer needs to be run in background till i open it and click on stop.

Please provide the modified coding to done this. thanks in advance.

Excellent LJMetzger..

Can we get this done even excel sheet closed? if the spreadsheet closed without stop the timer then the timer needs to be paused while closing and starts from paused time.

Hi,

I apologize. I forgot that this thread was still open. I had to take a slightly different approach to the timers, since the previous code was good for 24 hours maximum. The current code is good as long as Excel gives the correct time. See the attached file.
