Filtering using a phrase

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet of tournament entries (attached) and I would like to filter column "H". There may be multiple entry categories for each person (row) and I want to be able to each one e.g. "45+ Mens Doubles" to see how many have entered in each category. Can anybody advise how best to do this... Would it be easier in VBA?

You just need to build a table that can be used to count the entries - here is it, attached, on a new sheet.
