    Multiple data series with multiple x-axis dates in a chart

    This is a problem I would have assumed is very easy to solve, but I do not have a clue how to do it.

    Can anyone explain to me how I can add all these data series in the attached file?

    At the moment whenever I try to select the x-axis for the new data series, it takes away the x-axis for the old one.

    Its hard to explain but the attached file should clarify,

    thanks so so much,

    This is one of those things that I think is easier in an XY scatter chart than a line chart, because the select data dialogs for a scatter chart allow you to select both X and Y data for each series separately.

    With other chart types, here's I would add data series with different X data:

    1) Select both column in the spreadsheet (D1:E289, for example).
    2) Select the chart.
    3) Home -> Paste -> Paste Special
    4) Check appropriate options such as "Add cells as new series" "Categories X labels in first column". Make sure that "replace existing categories" is unchecked.

    See if that does what you want.
