Can I use Excel to generate a shift roster based on required headcount?

    Hi

I'm not sure if this is possible but I am trying to create a shift roster for a 24/7 call centre. If I have the headcount required per half hour block, is there a way I can use Excel to generate a roster taking into account minimum shift times, maximum work hours etc? If possible, can you please point me in the direction I need to go. If not, can you please let me know so I can stop searching for an answer

    Thanks for your help!
    Belinda

    Belinda,

The short answer is yes, but it is difficult to provide any further advice without seeing what type of plan you have in mind.

Here is a sample Employee Schedule that may give you some idea of what is possible.
