    How to deal with unwanted alterations derived from excel?

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to enter some numbers as say 17-22 in the each excel cell of one column (see below). I have some data like, 6-11 or 8-13, when the numbers was entered in the excel cells, they are changed to date (11-Jun or 13 Aug, respectively) by excel. Would you please let me know how to deal with this issue? Thanks

    Hi,

    Change the cell formatting to "Text" and it should work.

    Just format the cells as TEXT and you won't have this problem again.
