Entering only the date displays current date with month & year

Dear friends,

I have a column for date in many worksheets formatted as dd/mmm/yy. I know I can use ctrl+; to enter today date like 24-jun-15. I have to enter 23/6 to display 23-jun-15. Is there any settings in excel if I enter only 22 it should display the date with the current month like 22-jun-15 and 17-jun-15 for entering only 17. But now if I enter 22 it displays 22-jan-00. I have to enter bunch of data in month end. So I always need date only for current month. Please provide is there is any solution. Advance thanks

This will do what you want, but I used code to make it happen. If you type a valid day number for this month it will do what you want.
If you type 31, since there are only 30 days this month you will get a message saying invalid number. If you type any invalid number like -1 or 32 or text like ABC you will get a message saying invalid number.
If you go to a cell next month and change a number it will change to the current month. If you want to install this in your spreadsheet I can help you and give you some instructions to avoid future problems.

There are a couple of things you need to understand. I'll explain them to you if you are interested in using this code.
