Copy range of cells, and their formulas from 1 workbook to another WITHOUT creating a link

I need to copy a range of cells, into a matching workbook - but without it creating a link?

So the formulas live their own life in the new workbook without refrences

Did you select a cell or the whole sheet? Try it with a whole sheet. Worked fine for me a moment ago!!

Select the cells with the formulae in the first workbook and copy. Go to the second workbook and simply paste. No links are created unless you are doing something other than that.
