Variable X axis for a chart

Hi there,
Ive been asked by my employer to make a line graph to record a bunch of weekly data from last year but will continue to come in weekly for the next few years.

He specifically asked for the graph to only display up to the point where the last input is and then have it automatically update its range when new data comes in without having to extend the range manually.

Basically i need a line graph that has a variable/dynamic axis based on the size of the range

EXAMPLE.

Tuesday

Wednesday

Hi Meeee,

I would use a dynamic named range for your X-Axis.
GOTO: formulas --> name manager --> new. give it a name of your choice and then in the refers to box enter

changing the ranges as appropriate, and then in the chart properties change the x-axis range to your named range name you selected earlier. This will alow the x-axis to grow (and shrink) in line with the data entered
