I have a person that uses his own laptop (windows 8.1 HOME) and connects to our work network drive.

User opens Excel (2013) workbook that's located on our local file server and when he opens a pdf link it comes up with the hyperlink warning: "Some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer. . ."

I have tried these solutions:
1. go into registry and add the DisableHyperlinkWarning method
2. Go into excel and under trust center settings and add our network path as a trusted location and checked "allow trusted locations on my network"

It works when he transfers to his own computer first, but would like to try and avoid that if possible.

Thanks!
