How to make legend color consistent across graphs?

    Hi Forum,

I have 2 graphs, graph 1 and graph 2 (pl see attahced).

Data for Graph 2 were derived using data used for Graph 1 (but I have more other graphs in my original problem where source data are not inter-dependent).

My problem is Graph 1 legend color is not consistent with the graph 2 legend color.

    Q:
Could anyone help me to make the graph 2 legend colors consistent with that of the graph 1, i.e. Legend john’s color should always be maroon, perter should always be green etc. (but manually changing the colors in the graph 2 to make it consistent with graph 1 is not acceptable as I have so many graphs).

Copying graph 1 to a different place and then re-directing the “data for graph 2” to create the graph 2 is also not acceptable as there are way too many graphs with so many number of legends.

    Thanks
    Mirisa

You need to get into 'format data series' -- Line -- Automatic. Its currently set to Solid line and colour is chosen manually

One other thing you can do is, copy Graph 1

Select Graph 2, Home tab --> Paste (click the down arrow) --> Paste Special --> Formats
