Why "Filter by color" option is not available

Need a quick answer on this,

In Excel 2007, If i tick the "allow changes by more than one user at the same time" check box on "share workbook", the "Filter by color" option will not be available.

Is there a way to make it available again without having to untick the checkbox? Is there a way to bypass this and can still be able to filter a column by color.

    Best Regards,

Quick answer: no. That feature is one of many unavailable in shared workbooks.
