    Conditional formating

    hi,
    i want to compare two columns if they coum a is greater than column b then i want a green format if is smaller i want a red format

    I presume you are comparing two cells, one in each column.

    In which case

    green format
    =$A1>$B1

    red format
    =$A1<$B1

    Apply this to the whole range in columns A&B

    You may need to change one to a >= or <= if you want to format values that are the same.

    HOW TO Apply this to the whole range in columns A&B . Help me !!!!!! it works only for the firs cell.

    I am comparing two cells, one in each column. If the value in column a is bigger then the value in column b i want to format green, if it is smaller i want to format red.

    In which case

    green format
    =$A1>$B1

    red format
    =$A1<$B1

    No format
    =$A1=$B1


    HOW TO Apply this to the whole range in columns A&B . Help me !!!!!! it works only for the firs cell
