Need to stop the massive acceleration in scrolling speed when right clicking and filling

Edit: My error - not right click - just 'drag and fill' function as in click on bottom right corner of cell and when + appears move cursor down is the operation.


Need to stop the massive acceleration in scrolling speed when copying/filling down when you hit the end of the data that leads to you overshooting by many rows and then having to excruciatingly slowly scroll back up to the last data. Any suggestions?


Using end and down arrow filling type moves are not really viable as I I scroll down as many as 14,000 rows so tend to do it in segments with a pause in between for the data to load rather than all in one as data is being downloaded into the cells from a DDE link and don't want to overload.

Years (and years) ago someone offered an add in that addressed this problem but I can't remember who - still cussing for not buying it there and then
