Good afternoon forum,
I would need your knowledge and expertise on this one.
I have created a Conditionnal Formatting for column E (E2:E33), which highlight a cell (red or yellow) when the key words "Approval only", "nothing" & "Invoice only" is selected from a dropdown list.
But now, I would like to have the cells in column A to automaticly turn bold if the cell on the same row is highlighted red or yellow.
I have attached the file for example.CDT Formatting.xlsx

Select A2:A100 (or so)
Conditional Formatting>New Rule>Use Formula
=OR(LEFT($E2, SEARCH( " ", $E2)-1) ="Approval", LEFT($E2, SEARCH( " ", $E2)-1) = "Nothing", LEFT($E2, SEARCH( " ", $E2)-1) ="Invoice")
Format to Bold

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
