thats great thanks, but is there some way to do it to all comments in a workbook in one go?
Likewise for charts? thank you so much
I am not sure you can do it at once! I guess you need to change one at a time.
Ok thank you anyway!
You are welcome

This code will fix all your Shapes, including comments and charts.
Note that this code sets the middle option. If you want "Don't move or size with cells" then change xlMove in the code to xlFreeFloatingPlease Login or Register to view this content.
I can't understand why the default setting is "Move and size with cells", it should have been "Move but don't size with cells".
As usual testing has been minimal .

Hi Jacc, thanks, does you second code work for an entire workbook instead of just the active worksheet? Is that the difference, thank you!
Yes that is the difference and that was the intention with first code as well, I just forgot to replace the ActiveSheet with ws.
When I tested I only ran it on one sheet and it seemed to work.
Use the second code and forget about the first.
