Taking a calendar and numbers and compiling them in one central list.

    Calendar.xlsx

So, attached I have the current month. It is my intent to have all 12 months with the final product.

My goal is to be able to take names that are placed within the given days, and then in the "Roster" tab, have it compile all the values that were added in the number fields next to where there name is present.

So, if in 3 of the days there is: Deb 7, Deb 5, Deb 8, I'd like the Roster tab to reflect 20 as the total.

I cannot do this via macro or pivot table, macro because the workplace I'm at shuts them off no exceptions. Pivot tables because, well, I'm not versed in them at all and need to be able to recreate this for the other 11 months.

I'm very open to doing this in makeshift ways. i.e. have it compile on each month and then have the roster page just add those 12 compiles, that would work just fine. The number positioning doesn't NEED to be in a separate box next to the name, but that's just how I envision it would be easiest (as it's not limited to whole numbers or specific denominations) Basically, I'm just saying creative license prevails, but don't make it too crazy where I can't follow it. The main thing is I want to be able to throw people in days and track what they've had all year. If you can use my shell, great. If you need to do something else, then that's cool too.

Let me know if you need any clarifications or what not. Thanks for any help!

Say, that's sharp. I can finagle with that going forward and make it work from there, I just wasn't sure how the lookup would work. Thanks!
