Hello everyone! I have a list of about 360 six-digit numbers that are not sequential in nature, and I need to add an asterisk to the start and end of each number. So, for example I need to turn 243547 into *243547*. Is there a formula that will allow me to add this pattern of asterisks, rather than add it to each cell individually?

You can add reputation by clicking on the star * add reputation.
If this is just a visual thing but require that the numbers remain numbers, you could use formatting to create the appearance of *111111*
Select the numbers, right click and choose Format Cells, click on Number, Custom and enter "*"000000"*"
