Hi,
I am trying to embed a word document into an excel file, but the word document is 4 pages long and when I use insert-object I am only seeing the first page. Can anyone offer any solutions?
Thanks,

First, you aren't going to get all the Word pages to lay out nicely side-by-side, unless you make separate documents out of each page and import them as separate objects into Excel.
Understanding that, double-click on the Word page that you can see in Excel and see if a thick grey border appears. If so, put your cursor on the visible page and page-down to see the other pages of content.
If that doesn't work try this: IN YOUR SOURCE WORD DOC, hit Control A to select all the content, then Control V to copy it. IN YOUR EXCEL DOC, do Insert > Object > MS Word Document. That will create an empty word doc in your spreadsheet with the aforementioned gray border. Then simply hit Control V to paste the contents in.

Hi Jay,
I can see the full document when I double click, the whole document is there. But no matter how I re-size it I only ever see the first page (without actually clicking into the document) and I can only ever print the first page.
The point of embedding the document is so that it can be printed off all in one go with the other sheets in the workbook rather than having to print an excel file and a word file separately.
Kind regards,
Misti
Hi Misti,
You'll have to save each page of your original Word doc as a separate document. Then embed each separately and arrange as you like. Good luck!

Thanks Jay, I was hoping that there would be a more elegant solution since these are both Microsoft Office applications... but that was maybe naive of me!
