is there a way to increase the number of nested if statements form 7 I am using excel 2010

Before trying to nest more than 7 IF's (and yes, 2010 can manage that easily), I would 1st question why there is a need for nesting that deep?

Although a deeply nested set if IF statements may look impressive, it is hard to follow, hard to expand, and can be hard to trouble-shoot. Often there are other/better/simpler ways do do this sort of thing - a smnall table with a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH comes to mind.

What exactly are you trying to do here?
