    Matching a value with a +-50 to cover a banking fee?

    Hi thanks for looking. I need to find a way to incorporate an approximate match in a vlookup style formula.

    A banking fee can put my figures out by +- 50 but is not always included in remittances.

    The general formula I use is,

    Is there a way to have an approx. match stating a $100 variance? I will eventually be plumbing this into VBA as the books will change but if this is possible, I would prefer to dump the code into this book rather than running a sub to find possible matches.

    Approximate matches only work if your data is sorted.

    Is this of any use?

    Find closest value greater than or equal to F3
