Lock a cell by current date?

Is it possible to lock a cell by the current date? For instance. I want cell A1 to lock itself for editing after tomorrows date? I am trying to force and input by a certain date, if there is no input by that date, then the cell locks. Any Ideas?

That worked awesome. I modified it a little to suite my needs, but it was on the money. Any idea how to "Conditional Format" a cell to be a certain fill color, if the reference cell is todays date?

Say for instance A2 is "1-Oct_15" Cell A3 is green fill. But only if "1-Oct-15" is todays date?
