    Create/Modify Keyboard SHortcut - the Counter-Intuitive ctrl+pgup/pgdown tab-switching

    Hi all

I am looking to reverse/change the shortcut for changing Excel tabs.
ctrl+pgup switches over to the tb on the right, while ctrl+pgdown goes left.
I almost constantly get mixed up, as I simply find it counterintuitive (kind of like reversing the forward/back keys for a computer game).
I tried recording a macro, but the new contol only works once for switching between specific tabs. Also I canīt assign the pgup pgdown keys when recording a macro.

Thus I would like to ask if anyone knows how to change this, or if anyone is kind enough to help with building a macro for this.
All I would like is to reverse the shortcut keys so that pgup brings me right and pgdown brings me the left tab.

    Thank you all

    Svilen

I think you mean exactly the opposite

I don't know of any way that you can alter this inbuilt default behaviour.
You could always create these two macros and apply your own short cut keys, say Ctrl - U and Ctrl -D to them

It does though seem like an awfully big sledgehammer to crack the proverbial nut. I mean how difficult is it really to use the keys you're given?

    Thank you for the reply!

Funnily enough on spanish keyboard they are reversed (pageup on the top). It makes no sense, I know.

Your code Works! And yeah, itīs been driving me mad so this will help if I can find a good combination that works.

How can I make sure to macro is saved and works across all spreadsheets?

Include them as procedures in your Personal.xlsb workbook
