Calculate data from sheet 1 to sheet 2 based on the date range in sheet 2

Hello,

I am not sure if this is possible in Excel, but i have a "masterdata" sheet with all my data and have a "Dashboard" sheet that is based on the master sheet.

In the dashboard sheet, i would want to calculate my numbers based on the date range i give. please see the attachment for more info.

Would someone be able to please help me with this?

1) Fix your date entry cells as shown.

2) SUMIFS() can take it from there. Note, you have THIS and LAST YEAR in separate columns on the Masterdata sheet, that's not necessary. You can put all the date in one table if you want.

One way would be to change you main data tables to Excel Tables and use Sumifs for the dasboard summary. See the attached example file:

I don't know if you need your tables split into years but it might be easier if your database was one table.
