I'm running Excel 2003 under win 7 Pro x64. I used to have shortcuts on my desktop for the tables I use regularly. but when I click on one now, Excel opens on a blank and I get "There was a problem sending the command to the program." I can still open the file from within Excel, just can't click the shortcut to open Excel and the file together. This also happens if I click on the file in Explorer. This problem does not occur with Word 2003.
Have the files themselves been moved to a different folder or location? Try deleting the exisitng shortcuts and making new ones, that should fix the problem...

The files have not moved, and deleting and remaking the shortcuts has no effect.
