Re: Formulas not showing in blank cells

Looking at just this workbook I'd say just copy the missing formulas into the blank rows.

The formulas are there, then not? How is the data "refreshed"?

The data is refreshed when new data get published to our website. Only one name has been added to the list as you can see but the row of cells that where created is not showing any formulas and each column has the same formula in it. In the External Data Range Properties"I think I have ticked the correct boxes. You can see for yourself by ticking the different boxes the worksheet gets refreshed.

Well, external connections appear to only be in columns A:B, your formulas are not part of any "process". So, the simplest solution is to change the design and adjust your formulas so they can already exist in tons of extra rows.

I've moved your tables so they are side-by-side, then fixed the formulas and extended them down a ways. Now each refresh in the first two columns will result in all formulas calculating where needed.

Re: Formulas not showing in blank cells

    Hi
    Thanks for your help !!!
I had already thought of your last suggestion and your previous one where you said "just copy the missing formulas into the blank rows" as when our data is refreshed we are never going to get a load of new members added or removed from our handicap list. Our data gets refreshed once a week, with the new data updating the players handicaps if necessary. This is working just has it should.
What I think is not working is in "External Data Range Properties" as you can see in the screen shot I have attached. If you look below "If the number of rows in the data range changes upon refresh:" you will see I have selected "Insert entire rows for new data, clear unused cells" which is working ok. You will also see I have selected "Fill down formulas in columns adjacent to data" which I assume means that when the number of rows in the data range changes on refresh the formulas in the columns adjacent to the data should fill down in to the new cell or up accordantly. This appears not to be working has it should has I have been on other forum and others have had the same problem.
If you have any other comments or help it would be very much appreciated !!!!
    Many thanks again !!!
