Hi guys
This is my first post here and i would like to thank you for the help that you can provide as i already solved one of the thinks that i am trying to do.
Ok i will start from the top. I have a telephone system 3com one that exports the logs (incoming & outgoing) on a csv file so i import the file to excel and i have some calculation formulas to determine my costs. What i also want to do is to be able to find the top five at least phone numbers on that list. After exporting the file and converting all the call numbers to text on excel file using for example ( =mode(C1:C200) i was able to find the most frequent number on the list. Doing some search i was able to find the second frequent number using this formula ( =INDEX(ROW(INDIRECT("A"&MIN(A3:A210)&":A"&MAX(A3:A210)));MATCH(LARGE(FREQUENCY(A3:A210;ROW(INDIRECT("A"&MIN(A3:A210)&":A"&MAX(A3:A210))));2);FREQUENCY(A3:A210;ROW(INDIRECT("A"&MIN(A3:A210)&":A"&MAX(A3:A210))));FALSE)) ) thanks to this guy here ( http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...in-a-list.html ).
So is it possible for me to get third , fourth and fifth number from the list and if it is how?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards
George
