Can't name a table as the name exists, but it does not!?

Getting real frustrated here.

In a couple instances I created tables and assigned them names through the Name Manager. Later I chose to change the organization of the tables so I deleted them and their names through the Name Manager, then created the new tables. The names I previously used do not show up in the Name Manager. Now when I try to assign either name to a newly created table I get told that the name exists and get kicked back to try another.

Any ideas as to what is going on? One instance involves a table that already has a multitude of references to it in my code and if I can't use the name it is going to be a MAJOR PITA to go through and modify the code, find & replace or not!!!

Edit: Just ran Code Cleaner and it fixed the problem. Leaving this up in case anyone else has this nightmare...
