Smile extracting data from a pivot table.

Noob questions. I dont know how to use the =getpivotdata formula or perhaps there is a better formula, I would like to use it to extract grand total data for a specific transit in column A and paste it in the approriate places in "invoiced vs recovered" worksheet

    here the sample workbook

    Hi,

I don;t see why you need a whole new sheet.
Why not just drag and drop the Transit field into the Report Filter area of the Invoiced Pivot Table and then just select the relevant Transit number in the Transit drop down?

If you really want to use the GETPIVOTDATA, you will need a formula for each of the columns.
November 14 - Enter in C3 and fill down
    Formula: copy to clipboard

December 14 - Enter in D3 and fill down

January 15 - Enter in E3 and fill down
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Etc.
