Can I make a graph to be a specific size? (actual graph)

I am copying from Excel and pasting into powerpoint the graphs. I need to
make sure that the size of the graph covers the most of the whitespace
withing the "box" that holds the graph. Is there a way to have the graph to
be set, and not shrink in width?

Get your graph exactly as you want it in Excel then cut it using Control-C
Open your PowerPoint slide and type Alt-E ALt-S and then Picture (Enhanced Metafile)
That will give you an exact copy of your chart(s), similar to a screenshot, including getting the size
It can then be strectched or shrunk if required, but best quality is at the original size, so adjust the size in Excel before you cut and paste if necessary
