    How to insert a range of values in the excel sheet

    My problem might be simple, but i need your help. So I need to insert a range of values as 0-5, 6-10,11-15,16-20......... in my excel sheet. Please suggest me any idea..

    I'm probably not understanding your issue but from what I see, all the values look continuous so my recommendation is to put 0 in a cell, 1 in the one below, then 2, then highlight the three cells, grab the box in the lower corner of the cell with 2 in it and drag down until you have the numbers you want.
    Make contributors happy, click on the "* Add Reputation" as a way to say thank you.

    Yes the values are continous only, but for inserting them, is "highlighting" the better option???

    Ok, let me make it easy by this example:
    I need my excel sheet with column as
    0-5
    6-10
    11-15
    16-20
    21-25
    26-30....................................................996-1000.
    Am i pretty clear????

    after thinking about it I thought that you might want what you put in post #4. I have to get ready for work but I'm sure I can work it out but will check back when I get to work because I'm sure I can work out the formula if someone else doesn't. I have about half of it now.

    Ahh, there you go, as I was typing that Siva gave you a solution.
