    Question MsgBox Popup

    Could someone help me with a macro programming check? What I would like is for if a cell contains the word "Other" to pop up a msgbox.

    My spreadsheet would have a dropdown selection for option in cell column c, so what I would like is when cell column d gets focus or when cell column c loses focus then if cell column c equals "Other" then a msgbox would popup to remind a person to put a comment in on cell k for the Other.


    This is what I was trying but failed.

    do you mean a comment in column K of the same row ?

    In my real document I have in a cell a drop down box, for this example we can say that occurs in column C.
    What I would like is if from that drop down box the Other is selected when we move to the next cell which
    typically would be in column D for a msg box to pop up to essentially remind the user to put a comment in
    the C cell for the Other selection.

    The test file here is just a test if the dropdown is essential to have this done we can add that in quickly enough. Figured just having the text Other would be sufficient.
