Linking 2 combo boxes dashboard creation

    Hi,

I need to create a dashboard and I am currently stuck as to how to link 2 combo boxes. I have the first combo box which had my months (apr-december) and this already fills in data for the selected months on the dashboard. The second combo box has the people who made the sales( jane, anne, john, peter, zici etc) and this brings up its own data. However I wanted to link both combo box 1 and 2, so that if I select April, I can see how jane, anne, john, peter etc performed, and so on if i select may or june. Ultimately I need to be able to create a graph from this so the staff on the x axis, and the sales on the y, so that if I select June for eg in combo box 1 this graph will automatically populate. I have looked online for solutions and the ones I have seen seem to be the userform, I dont want a userform as the combo boxes sit on the dashboard. My data is as follow, cell a2-a10 are the month of year name, which is combo box 1, and cell c2-c46 are the names of the staff (jane, anne, john, peter etc). What code would I use to populate this?

Thank you very much in advance

    c

The code depends completely on how your data is organized. It may be that no code is required at all. Also it depends on whether you are using Form controls or ActiveX for your comboboxes.

The best way to convey that is to attach your file. Can you attach a file with sample data? And to the extent possibly, show dummy results that illustrate what final result you are trying to get.

    Hi 6stringJazzer

Attached is file with dummy data, the combo box used is activex. I ultimately need the combo box to update by month and to update my graph and to also fill the table.

    Thank you for replying
