    get the last number on the list

    Hi

    what is the formula to get the last number on row A2 : 170227,170227,171225,171226,170227?

    I just need the last number which is 170227

    Assuming that you mean ROW 2.... i.e. from A2 to F2, or whatever...

    =LOOKUP(1E+100,2:2)

    thanks, but what I need is to get the results in Column B. for example

    Column A
    170227,170227,171225,171226,170227


    Column B is the answer or result which is 170227. I just need to get the last number from given column A sample

    Alkey's solution will give you what you want. However remember that ROW = horizontal, COLUMN = vertical, and in your first post you said ROW A2....

    But you need check the last value in cell A7. It is just a number formatted with commas.
