Going for an analyst role tomorrow, need some help please : )

Hey guys, I've got a test for an analyst position today i need a bit of help with.

I have an excel file with two sheets and about 3000 rows of data. On the first sheet is the names of various brands, their shop locations by suburb and the information they are presenting is the time it takes to fill a role in days per location.

On the second sheet is a reference between the shop locations and the state they reside in.

The question asked is: Using both tabs (tab 1 Raw Recruitment data and tab 2 Location by state data) report on average time to fill per State, per Brand.

I need to get the states on sheet two to correspond with the specific store locations listed on sheet one in order to create my pivot tables but don't know how to do it. Sheet two lists each location in column 1 with their corresponding state in column 2 and there is about 400 entries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so so much.
