Excel 2007 : Combination area and line chart -- need to fix axes

I am having a really hard time with my combination chart. I have stacked area series and a line series on a different vertical axis. I am getting a mess on the horizontal axis, because I get some space on either side of my area and it does not look very good (in fact it looks so bad, that I am afraid I can't use this chart, but I really need it!!!)

I was able to fix the problem on one side by selecting "on tick marks" for "position axis" in options for horizontal axis, but I still get this space on the right side... I need help!!!!

Hello,

select the chart, then on the Layout ribbon of the Chart Tools select the Axes dropdown and click Secondary horizontal Axis > More secondary axis options

Click On tick marks and then set the axis to no line and no tick marks to hide it again.

I am having the same problem but with Excel 2013. Is there any way you can help?

I have a stacked area chart and a line chart on a secondary axis. After adding the secondary axis, there is a space between the axis and the chart area. Please help!
