Linked Excel files in Word (2010)

Not sure if this a Word or Excel question! Apologises if posted in the wrong place.

I want to identify a linked object, one of about 20, in a Word document
All the objects are from the same Excel sheet and they are made from the data in multiple Pivot tables.

The Link Manager in Word lists them all and offers the usual information but the specific location of the object in the sheet is not given.
Opening the source does not take the cursor to the object location, just gives Excel the focus.

Is there some way of finding it?
