Index/Match accross multplie Sheets

Hi

I require some help with a formula with an index and match across multiple sheets.

On the sheet “Master” I have unique employee numbers in column A. In columns AE:AK I have 4 different category headings. What I need is a “Yes” returned based on if there is a match or not.

The matches would be:
Across the sheets e.g. Division 1, Division 2, Division 3
Cells B263:B266 on the divisional sheets with AE:AK of the master sheet
Row 4 of the divisional sheets with column A of the master sheet

Can anyone help with this please?

Please check the attached..
a lots of hidden sheet / rows / columns..
so formula is not so much dynamic.. still you get the idea how to make it more bulletproof..

try something like..

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

That worked for me and I managed to replicate it with my source data! Thank you!

Although its solved I am going to leave it open for a bit just to see if there are other ways of doing it out of curiosity.
