Scenario: I have 7 assembly cells, each with a computer with network access. I have created a simple Boolean (Y/N in this this case) input screen for each of these cells (for 3 questions), each in their own workbook.
There is then a master sheet, linked to each of these 7 workbooks, to collate all the results on one screen.
What I'd like to do is have the master sheet open 24/7 on a large screen we've just had bolted to the wall, and for it to automatically update when any of the sources are changed.
I've had a bash at various ideas for solutions for this issue (data connections, macros to force save after changes made, etc), and whilst I already know Excel isn't the best application for what I'm trying to do, it's the one I'm most comfortable with and have access to. Is there a way to do this, or am I best to leave with our IT to develop in another application?
